Ice cream (with no ice cream maker!)

The limit does not exist on ways to dress up this no-churn ice cream base. Easy peasy. But no lemon squeezy. Citrus makes dairy curdle.

Let’s get into it:

The Recipe:

  • One pint heavy whipping cream
  • One 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1t vanilla

*************************************************************************************

In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream into stiff peaks. Fold sweetened condensed milk and vanilla into the whipped cream. Spread mixture into a freezer-friendly pan/glass bowl. Make sure it’s covered, and freeze at least 8 hours. That’s it! You have vanilla ice cream.

If you want to get a little fancy….

  • Fold in any chopped candy bars!
  • Mix in nuts and fancy chopped chocolate!
  • Chop up your favorite cookies and get them in there!
  • Swirl in some jam! AND PEANUT BUTTER! PBJ all day.
  • Birthday? Use sprinkles!
  • Try mint cookies and chocolate sauce!
  • Soak your favorite cereal in the heavy cream, strain it out, then use THAT for whipping! Milk bar, I’m comin’ for ya.
  • Use whatever your heart desires (besides citrus, unless it’s a curd)! It’ll be fantastic.
  • In the picture, I swirled in some peanut butter, caramel, crushed Oreos, mini chocolate chips, and sprinkles.
